Hi, the crate I bought for Bart was 24", it was plenty big enough for him, he just hated it. I have had it for 2 weeks and we wanted to use it for him to sleep in at night, and to keep him away from the cat until they were used to each other. But it didn't work.
We bought 2 safety gates now instead, 1 is on the lounge door, and the other is on our bedroom door (that is the cats space, and has been for 9 years, so no other animals allowed!). Unfortunately, Bart jumped the lounge stairgate the other day, which took my completely by surprise lol, it just means that I have to step up the training with him and the cat alot quicker than i would've liked.
