How many times a day does your baby poop? I see from your previous posts that he is 6 months and 3.5 pounds. When Max was a pup, he usually eliminated 3 times a day. My younger boy has a fast metabolism and still eliminates 3 times a day.
In my opinion, food manufacturer feeding guidelines recommend feeding too much. My boys are active and have never needed the amount in those guidelines. Plus you have factor in any addition food and treats you give your pup. Treats can have a significant impact on pooping.
Are the poops firm?
Tear staining can be caused by many things, so it is hard to say if it is the food, allergies, or something else.
