There are "big time breeders" that stock their own medications and vaccinations and administer themselves. It's kind of strange that they would suggest you give a medication. Hope all works out OK. Sometimes an elevated body temperature will cause a more rapid respiratory rate. If her body was fighting something off before she left the breeder's she may very well have been too stressed to continue to fight it off. You may want to ask your vet if they know anything about the breeder. |
