My baby loves people and never barks when people come to the door. She just wags her little butt as fast as it will go. However, sometimes at night I have the fan going in the window right next to the bed. A couple of times she has gotten up and started sniffing the air in front of the fan and growling. We live in a forested area. I know she would not growl if she smelled a person. She would welcome that. I just hope it's not bigfoot out there! It's the only time I have ever heard her growl. One night she started barking too and it really freaked me out. We got up and went and looked out on the patio but didn't see anything. It took me quite a while to calm her down. Too freaky for me! They hear and smell things that we don't. |
