Tigger has slept with us since day one. We got him at ten weeks old, and for the first while he would wake up at four A.M. to be let out. Also my boyfriend(John) and I made an aggrement. If the dog moves or makes a sound at night we'd take him out. He now sleeps through out the night with out a problem (he's now seven months), which started at about two months of age.
Yes, he's had a few accident's in bed. But John and I got smart. We put his bed between our pillows, got an industrial paper clip, clipped that to our headboard, and gave him enough slack to get to the end of his bed. He no longer does this, because he now sleeps through the night, but rather he gets between the down comforter and sheets and sleeps underneath the blankets curled up usually with John.
As far as dominance goes... No issues here. Tigger's just bossy by nature. He's a spoiled child, and he knows it. and he's a total lap dog. If you don't let him on your lap, he'll bark at you and whine until you let him up. Then he just passes out. |
