Sorry, this is going to be a bit longer post
I have a boy yorkie, Bear, who just turned two years last week. He is about 9 pounds, beautiful cottony coat boy.
Wanted to get him a playmate , yorkie girl for a while now, but was looking for a bit older and bigger puppy. Love "Teapot babies"!
We got Bella yesterday, she is 18 weeks, 5 pounds !
I was more then happy when I got her yesterday, and Bella was doing great. She ate very well, played and slept normal.
During the evening and thruout the night she started cauging, sounded like she has kennel cough ( per breeder's papers she is vacinated against kennel cough)
Whe she woke up this morning, her left eye has a lot of discharge
Called the breeder, he said she will be fine, probably just stressed out and to give her amoxicilin is eye infection persist ?!
I will be taking her to the vet first thing tomorrow morning for a checkup and hoping she doesnt have any health issues.
Watching her now as she sleeps, she seems to breathe much faster then Bear. Is that normal?

btw, she has very thin silky golden/silver/ black coat. Does silky coat get thicker as the puppy grows up?
