When Gizmo had kennel cough, he was prescribed antibiotics as well as a small doggy dose of Robitussin or however you spell it. May want to call the vet to see if he could recommend a cough supressant as well. Just like humans, his little throat is probably really irritated from the coughing causing him to cough more.
