When examined by the vet they said he would need dental surgury because his baby teeth never fell out and I could not afford it. Could his teeth be bothering him and it is connected with his ear or something along those lines.
Could very well be related to the retained baby teeth. Those need to come out asap because the longer they remain, the bigger and more expensive the problems become. Yorkies are prone to tooth decay and retained baby teeth mean more places for bacteria to be trapped. Adult teeth may become rotten and need to be extracted, which means more $$.

Rotten teeth and gum disease can cause serious illness by affecting the major organs.
