6 of my gang sleeps in my bed or on me and the other 4 sleep on beds in the bedroom and this is their choice. I feel totally protected and I know no one could walk into the room without someone sounding the alarm.
I don't get the dominance thing
as I have heard this before but it just doesn't make sense to me. Weather I am laying down or they are sitting on the couch with me they really are stuck to me. I think they feel more comfort knowing I am there and touching me. They know I am in charge and if they hear a strange noise they always immediately look to me for my reaction. They might go ahead and bark but it is not the same bark when they are afraid.
