If he is getting out of his harness it is not the right size for him, or not a well made harness. No one on here can force you to do what you don't want- you have stated many times that you prefer collars, that you like to tie your small breed dog out by it's collar- everyone here has told you that it is a terrible idea, that you are risking SERIOUS, PERMANENT injury- if you still choose to use a collar, go for it!
