I agree, a larger company who has more $$$ doesn't necessarily have better means to get recall info out to consumers. The only thing different they could do with extra money is buy full page ads in papers, or do radio and television commercials. The latter has never been done, as far as I know, and the only full page newspaper ads that I have heard of were companies trying to reassure consumers that their products were safe after the 2007 recalls.
