He's a wonderful little dog. I dislike showing, can't stand to be at the show site and am not free to travel to such anyway. After many years and multiple tries I do not feel comfortable leaving a dog completely in the care of a handler, which is what I would have to do now that he needs the majors to finish. There are very few majors available in my region, so it's now time to decide to send him away with a handler or place him as a pet. This is a very gentle mannered little dog I do not believe would do well traveling with a handler. I also do not feel comfortable having no ability to supervise the handling.
I'm sorry I ever got involved in showing. I've never had such difficult births here or as many dead puppies as with these so-called show quality dogs. I'm reconsidering, at the suggestion of my vet, what the heck we're doing to this breed.
