I am not trying to be snarky at all, but do you leave food and water in the crate? Your puppy is alone for four hours, and not having food and water for that amount of time can be deadly for a yorkie. Did the breeder that you got your puppy from explain hypoglycemia to you? It is unfortunately all too common in yorkies (and other tiny breeds.) I would really look into the xpen, and while it may mean more work for you, it will certainly be healthier for your puppy. |
