Aww poor Murphy - no one likes the dentist! lol! Yes, everything sounds normal. If you really feel like he's too doped up - just call your vet - they may say to cut it down a little but otherwise the first couple of days they are kinda out of it. Try to make sure that he gets some fluids though - especially if he's only eating dry food.

Hope he's up and at 'em real soon!
