Lacey was always under our feet. Lots of times we came very close on stepping on her. I was 15 and my brother was 13 when we got her. I never did end up having any nieces or nephews, and I still don't have kids of my own yet. As I got older and my friends ended up having kids, I would sometimes baby-sit for them. Lacey would sit on my lap the whole time because she was not used to kids at all. When I would let her down, the kids would try to chase her, and she ended up hiding behind the couch until they left.
