Well, you can't take BP on a dog at home and only a vet can give you the correct safe limits for pulse and respiration in a case like this. I have nurse friends also; however, they know nothing about dog health at all...

Not sure why the vet didn't tell you to induce vomiting, and if two said it is fine, I guess there is nothing more to do. But I'd be calling poison control. If there is reason to watch her like a hawk, then there is reason to be very concerned.
I was wondering about measuring the bp in a small dog. It's also not as if people just happen to have the mini cuff available in their bathrooms.

I bet your nurse friends are like me, we know enough to know some of the things that can go wrong so we high tail it to the experts.
