Not sure what others might say about this... but I found Johnson & Johnson baby shampoo works pretty well but it's not dog shampoo. I think the ph of it is fine for dogs thin skin though, and it makes my boy soft and silkier so he does not mat as badly. My poor baby just has a TERRIBLE coat. I hate it, he hates it. No matter what, he never looks good except straight from the groomer. Poor little guy! I love him to pieces though! I learned to love his tiny body shaved too!
