Oh boy! I have 2 boys but they never fight over me. I think you are doing the right thing by putting her down on the floor and picking up the stairs so she can't get back up. Not sure how else you can 'tell' her that her behavior is unacceptable. I have a dog bed at the end of our bed on a truck that is the same level as our bed. When we go to bed, we make them go in their bed and cover them with a blanket. Maybe try doing that, letting them sleep 'with' you but not in your bed, in their own bed that is where your bed is. That way NEITHER of them get Daddy for the night. Usually my BF wakes up to a furry butt in his face, or to Dexter staring at him straight in the face about 2 centimeters away wanting to be pet! LOL
