Thanks everyone for thier imput. When I worked at the vets we gave them at 6weeks. My first litter had theirs at 6 weeks. I don't care to wait until they are 8weeks, I am in no hurry. They are still nursing and Belle still sleeps with them at night. They eat puppy mush now, but hopefully over the next week they will be able to crunch their food. I know that as long as they are nursing they are still getting the protection they need, but as they stop that protection starts to wain then after a few weeks it is almost null invoid. I just want the healthiest and happiest babies I can get.
