 Toby is going for his first dental on Friday.
I'm already nervous. Especially after reading that some dogs get diarrhea from the anesthesia. He sleeps with us so maybe I will have to sleep on the couch the night he comes home. He is going to have 3-4 baby teeth pulled. His breath is atrocious and we need to get those baby teeth out for health reasons. I had the vet give me an estimate and the most it should cost is going to be a little over $200. Guess I can't complain compared to what I'm reading on YT. That price included the pre dental blood work.
I guess the vet will tell me how long I need to feed him soft food
I am to drop him off Friday morning and pick him up around 5 pm. Guess I will work that day to keep my mind occupied.
Keep your fingers crossed for my little guy. He's a pretty tough cookie so hopefully this will go smooth for both of us. |
