If he is over two pounds and at least eight weeks old you should be fine. I brought one home at seven weeks and one at fourteen weeks. They both did wonderful. No issues. Potty training was not bad. Of course you must make sure they eat well and drink well so their blood sugar does not get to low. good luck with your new pup
