The apt has a big building on the side he sun would be shining through the windows. There is also a big building in front that shields us from the sun. We have very minimal direct sunlight, usually from 2 to 3 pm. Oh, and we figured out a way to get air circulating throughout the entire apartment. We're also on the "sublevel" meaning our bedroom is a bit under the main part of the building, also helping keep cool.
