Yes, it does take time. I lost my precious little Kayla 3 years ago and still miss her very much. She was the light of my life. I do have another little girl now but that doesn't mean that I don't miss Kayla. I think I always will to some extent.
The pain of losing her has lessened but I still have my moments. That may sound strange seeing as how it's been 3 years but that's me.
So take all the time you need.
