Also, as much as it's great to brush - and it IS important to brush - some of it is genetics - just like humans - so don't be too hard on yourself. My girl doesn't seem to have as good as teeth as my boys and they all get brushed the same amount.
Very true. My pups have dentals done every 12-18 months. I have seen some that don't need them that often, but honestly it is rare. Dental issues are common in yorkies.
