I hope you don't take offense by this bc I don't mean any disrespect, but if you knew you wanted a calm prissy lap dog you could carry around in your bag, why didn't you look into adopting an older dog? I was also curious, you said you were a month into adopting your yorkie/maltese mix, but she's only 4 1/2 mo now? So you got her at 6 wks old? I'm assuming you purchased her and not actually adopted her.
She is just being a puppy, she is not evil. However, it is really hard if not impossible to determine the look or temperament of a mixed breed dog. Even if you met her parents, littermates can look and behave totally different. That's why I always suggest if you know exactly what you are looking for, you should get an adult dog. Puppyhood is difficult. If not properly trained, puppy could develop many traits that you may find undesirable and will be hard to train out of in adulthood. |
