Aw, she is just being a normal yorkie puppy. Mine all went through the same thing but they all calmed down when they got older.
I remember when Lillie was a puppy. She wouldn't let me hold her or kiss her, she just didn't want anything to do with me. I was so disappointed because I like to have cuddly ones and all she wanted to do was play with the others. Shortly after turning a year old she was completely different!! She is now so cuddly that she even sleeps under the covers with me every night and has earned the title princess.
Just give her time to be a puppy and she'll come around.
Oh and maltese are generally calm lap dogs. My maltese is nothing like my yorkies personality wise. Yorkies are terriers so you can see which one your little girl is taking after. |
