My daughter's boyfriend arrived from London yesterday (his first time visiting since I've had ZoE) and today he was eating some left over KFC while watching tv, waiting for my daughter to get ready for them to go out, when he noticed his chicken was gone! ZoE ate it
It's now after-hours, I called her vet & left a message, but haven't heard back yet, so I called the Emergency Vet and they said the greatest danger is when eating the bones and that if she's already eaten them to monitor her and look for blood in her poop and if I see any to take her in immediately! They also said not to give her anything to make her vomit..just let her digestive system work naturally & closely monitor for any problems. This sound right???
I'm looking for reassurance...has anyone else's yorkie eaten chicken bones & been ok? Should I feed her more dog food to make her poop quicker...or is that a silly thought???
