I also leave Baby home while I am at work (7:40-3:30). I have a playpen for her that is pretty big. It's on sale for 69.99 at Petco.com. I actually don't have it in the shape of a hexagon, I have it in a rectangle shape. On one side I put the pee pee pad. On the other side I have her little crate with her bed inside covered with a towel, a water bottle attached to the side (because sometimes she dumped over the water), her dry food, and her toys. I leave a t-shirt of mine that I've already worn on her bed and a Teddy Bear about her size like it's her mommy. Of course, Baby doesn't like when I put her in the pen b/c she knows I will be leaving. I also don't leave a collar on her. And DON"T leave those paper/diaper pee pee pads if you can because I did once and baby tore it up! I think they do that b/c they are upset you are not around. Good luck. Your baby will be fine.
