I had the same thing happen one time. I live in a gated community!! I know it wasn't a dog, but I'm not positive if it was a Coyote or a fox. Our local news had had on lately that there are Coyote's in our area and people's dogs and cats have come up missing. My two are never out without us anyway, but it really is scary!
