It just doesn't take alot of food to keep a yorkie going. Thats why mine are overweight and are now on prescription dog food. My little 4lb. Dudley knows when to stop eating. Eats about a tbsp. or so at mealtime. Kayla is our little piggie. She doesn't know when to stop. So now she is on a diet. Maybe your little guy is eating more than you think if you free feed too. Thats what I had to stop doing. They are all pudgie except Dudley. Hope things work out for you. They can worry you to death, but, I don't think he is going to starve himself unless he is sick or something. He may just be a picky eater. |
