Lexi developed a black spot this last year I thought it was just the last time i gave her a haircut that her hair was coming in darker. But you have me thinking now. It was one area never looked scabby never itched just the hair color was darker. Never slowed down or acted like it bothered her an any way. Other then these episodes we had that i was sure was due to a allergies. But now you have me thinking the spot could have been a warning sign. She had been to the vet and had blood work done and had been spayed this spring. Did not notice the black spot until I shaved her this spring. Again I believe it never bothered her at all. And was just a coarser hair growing in that spot but the skin looked good. I now wonder if it was something more serious going on inside of her. But if it was she never every showed any signs of it bothering her. Please let me know what you find out. I have attached some pictures of the spot. Lexi passed away the end of june to what i believe was a allergic reaction.
