When Callie was a puppy she slept in a crate in my room with a blankie over all but one of the sides, then when she was potty trained we got rid of the crate (took it outside to the shed) because she hated it so bad and put a big comfy pillow under my desk but that didnt work for long because I was sooooo afraid that even in a night gown she was going to get cold because I keep my ceiling fan on all the time and my room can be a little chilly so I found a soft sided dog house and she loved it, so we eventually upgraded to a pretty and slightly bigger one and I bought a nice thick crate pad that fits in there and she loves it and sleeps in there every night about 2 feet from my bed. In the living room she loves to sleep in her cloud 9 bed during the day and when my moms yorkie comes over he loves to sleep in it too.
