I'm so sorry to hear about Jake.
It sounds like you are a great mommy to him and he's in the best care. I don't even know what to say because I can't imagine being in your situation. I really hope that all goes well and Jake continues to improve. Please keep us updated. We'd love to see a picture of your best friend, too.
