I need your opinion on Emee’s skin problem.

5/9 – Rabies Shot
6/10 – Spay and Liver biopsy
6/29 – Infection under skin on right hip. Antibiotics and prednisone. Vet thinks it might be a reaction to the rabies shot
7/15 – Sore is healing but has lost hair on right hip and skin around sore is now black.
7/31 – Small black spot on other side of hip – vet recommends onesie and Benadryl and see what happens. Emee does not appear to be biting the skin but the hair is now very short at the dark spot.
8/15 – another dark spot appears and the spots are getting larger. Vet still thinks it might be a reaction to the rabies shot and wants to do a biopsy.

Anyone ever experience this. My little baby is beginning to look like a gray Dalmatian. She eats great and is very active. I don’t see her scratching herself but she does love to roll on her back and scratch. The black spots are only on her back and do not appear as sores. Any ideas?
