We have a Hoover shampoo-er too and it did a great job, that being said about a week later it started smelling worse than before!! Now we have an area the dogs thinks is a restroom!! Ack-yuck!!
I am thinking of ripping it up and trying those carpet tiles. Anyone with experience with those?
