I have used the eucalyptus oil, but not as a rub, just put a tiny drop on him. it worked for the fleas but, I felt it irratated his skin more. So, stopped that. I have never tried the apple cider vinegar as a rub. I have heard that you can put a little in the water for them to drink, tried that and thought he would thirst to death!! LOL He would NOT touch it. So... We use advantage 2 and it works but, is the least water repellant!!
He gets a bath 2x's a week with a cortisone shampoo, not very good smelling. But, helps witht he itching.
