Princess is severely allergic to fleas too Frontline Plus works great but she still gets hot spot from the bites that kill them and irritated from them in the mean time.

I often use 'repellents' in conjunction but I totally understand what you are going through with that. Have you tried apple cider vinegar as a rub? A lot of ppl swear by eucalyptus oil but I think the smell is rudely irritating to dogs.
