Princess chewed a few flip flops...and pens, TP, books, CD's,
anything she could find, especially if we thought it was something she wouldn't like.
We learned really quick that the only remedy was to put every possible "victim" out of reach. And that meant
everything. She even chewed the house phone & remotes if they were down. She had ample chews & toys but I guess they weren't as exciting.
Don't worry, it really shouldn't last forever. I think the worst of it was over around 8-10 months. It's not so strict anymore but she'll occasionally "indulge" in a napkin or receipt if she finds one. But the shoes & such are safe once again.
ETA: she finds more stuff if she's frustrated because I'm busy & can't play, so wearing your pup out will probably help, too.
