Often what happens is that something can sensitize the intestine so that it changes the flora and normal levels of bacteria can bloom to abnormal levels causing the symptoms you see. Stress can do it, foods or ingredients they are sensitive to can do it. Coccidia works that way causing coccidiosis and really any bad bacteria does. Bad bacteria is carried in the gut but you don't have the condition showing up until something changes then you get blooms or overproduction of the bad bacteria then symptoms appear. | Thanks for the good imformation. I just thought I would try the Flint River Trout and Potatoe because she can not have anything with poultry in it. I only gave her four kernals a day.She gets very sick from chicken but I am going to take your word about food and just keep her on her Fromm's Whitefish and Potatoe. Also I looked at your web site and you sure have some beautiful yorkies. The babies are darling it makes me want another. We love our little girl so much and we do everything for her. Again your yorkies are beautiful. I am going to put your web site in my favorites. Also what do you feed your yorkies when they are a little over a year old like my little Kinder is? Thanks Susan |
