It's more of a shallow hummm type noise, not loud at all...more of a vibrate/ low humming sound.

I place it in the palm of my hand, back of the trimmer in my palm and the blade pointing down towards my feet, then I just lift my hand up over the front of her eyebrows and the right corner of the blade nips the right eye corner hair and then I do the samething on the left side with the left corner of the blade. Hope...that makes some sense. Try holding it that way, if you don't hold it like that already.

I'm going to have to see if I can find this! I never wanted to shave their eyes, but my younger one gets really bad eye goop. I'd much rather have her clean and comfortable! Thanks!
