So sorry to hear of your loss. I lost my little Poppy in March at the young age of 9. I thought I would not get another furbaby for years if ever. The joy she brought to my life over the past 9 years was worth every tear when I had to let her go. She was a wonderful member of my family.
After a few months, I realized I needed to add to my family again. Poppy left such big paws to fill, I decided to get two new babies. I got a boy and a girl, same breeder different litters about 2 weeks apart. They are wonderful together. They play with each other and by themselves.
A lot of people warned me about getting two dogs and the challenges that would come with two, specifically potty training. I have not really noticed any extra challenge with the two of them. When I praise one for going potty, the other wants the praise and goes also.
So far my biggest challenge has been getting to chew two bones instead both going after the same one!
