You have the great advantage of being at home and you are experienced with dogs. That changes the ball game quite a bit. If you have the time and determination to train both correctly then I would not hesitate to get another one soon. If the one you have now is doing well with it's training he may still be a help with the new pup.
I have an A personality fur baby and I am still kicking myself for not getting her sister when I got her. Now I just don't know how she would be with an addition. I guess if the personalities match it would be fine but if I had gotten her litter mate I wouldn't have to be concerned about introducing a new one.
Since you have always had more than one dog at a time it should be easier for you to introduce a new one since you are home. Just my opinion.
