My son was bitten by a cocker spaniel when he was about 10. The pup belonged to a friend of his. The mother had told all of the parents of her son's friends that Joey was food aggressive....she gave us the option to keep our children away or tell them how to behave.
The day my son was bitten, he called me up to say that Joey had bitten him and it was his fault. Indeed it was. He had been warned. He lived through it and learned a lesson...stay away from Joey's food.
I think that parents need to tell their children to stay out of pup's faces and out of their food. Just me. *shrug*
