No, I settled on a yorkie, their exercise needs more nearly matched my own. Just the size of the yorkie helps, a mile is a long walk, for a small breed, for a large breed it's nothing. By the way, do you like to Bike ride of skate? I see lots of people "walking" their dogs that way.
