Hi, I was just going to say it looks like a giant cane type. As I live in Hawaii and this is ALL OVER the place. lol If possible if ask your hubby to approach the owner of this place. He might be able to tell him where he got it or he might be able to get a piece of it to transplant (if that is possible).
