My Chloe is afraid of the vacuum, she will go hide from it when it starts up. Armani on the other hand goes crazy attacking it- I usually just put him in a different room while I vacuum so I can get done quickly without him being a nuisance. I am sure with enough training/ desensitizing the problem could be fixed, but I have never considered it worth my time.
