Calcium when administered by a vet in the case of Hattie was by IV mixed with glucose, they first checked her levels of course. She bounced back within minutes, barking and talking saying mom get me home to my pups!
I limited her feedings to 3-4 times a day and suplimented the pups the rest of the time. I continued to let her stay in when she wanted but with wraps so the pups could have her comfort and preen them.
