good advice has been given here... Ecampsia is nothing any breeder wants to see. I would allow the mom limited feedings until you get her level totally back to normal and youre assured she is eating anything and everything. The first 24-48 hours my moms usually dont eat much but will eat a huge meal right after whelping. If they dont begin to eat on their own by 48 hours I begin syringe feeding small meals of goats milk, baby rice ceral and chicken baby food mixed. Also bowls of goats milk given about 4 times a day add a bit of karo syrup. A couple days of this they begin to eat their own food but of course are still very picky. As a last resort I will use little cesars puppy, most any dog will eat it!
