I will be praying for Maxine. Steve, I don't know if you remember, but my son's yorkie had a stroke a couple of months ago and he is now doing fine. If it is a stroke, they recover quickly...pretty amazing stuff. A stroke in a dog is not like one in a human. I hope that is all this is and that Marge will be fine in no time!
