Please don't get another dog. You have demonstrated you don't know how to properly care for one right now. The fact that you did not gently lift your baby into a firm dog bed or basket to stabilize it and go for immediate neuro/orth exam, x-rays and pain medication plus some other statements made speaks volumes about your abilities right now to take adequate responsibility for a pet. Take time, learn all you can and spend some time in the Sick and Injured Forum. You will learn so much from those posts.
